Hilly, forest-covered terrain greets the eye at Long Sault Conservation Area. The conservation area is in the middle of the pleasantly hilly Oak Ridges Moraine, which was formed during the last ice age. The rugged terrain is suitable for various activities, such as running, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, nature walks, and bird watching.
