Killarney Shores Trip on Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada
"This early fall trip is to one of our favourite paddling areas – the south side of Philip Edward Island with the Killarney hills as a backdrop. This was one of our first paddling destinations long before Killarney became famous for sea kayaking. A great time to be out there – the water is warm and the summer visitors have gone home."

Wooded winter wonderland walk calls from St. Clair - Life - Voice News
"The pleasures of a walk in the woods in the winter are many - and they can be enjoyed, perhaps surprisingly, within the city limits of St. Clair, one of the most thoroughly built-out cities in the Blue Water area.
In addition to its quiet residential streets and a bike trail that links to trails in China and St. Clair townships, all of which are good for walking, St. Clair is home to three wooded trail systems, covering more than 250 acres that are open to the public: The BP Nature Trail, Greig Park and the Alice Moore Woods."

Attached to the Bruce Trail: hikers drawn to variety of long-distance Ont. path - Winnipeg Free Press
"TORONTO - There's a rocky ledge near the north end of Ontario's long-distance Bruce Trail that has special significance for hikers Rick and Wendy Plume.
The Toronto couple have been there several times — 'it's a very beautiful, rugged' part of the trail, says Wendy, describing the bare outcrop high above the waters of Georgian Bay on the Bruce Peninsula.
Four years ago they stopped there to admire the panoramic view with their friend and hiking partner Norm Cornack. It turned out to be Norm's last hike. Shortly afterwards he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died within months on his 48th birthday."
