Some of the results have started to flow in. A number of communities held walks on Provincial/International Trails Day.

We will provide links to other walks and trail celebrations that took place June 7, as well as throughout the year. The Ontario Trails "Mayor's Walk" events are open to OTC member organizations to act as hosts for a walk in 2025. Tell us when you are having an event in 2025 Event Notification Sheet.

With trails in 100's of Ontario Communities this is a great way to showcase your local support while enabling all the Mayor's and their trail friends to get out for a celebration of trails.

It looks like there was a good turn out across Ontario. Ruth Moffat wrote "We had a lovely hike today for the first Mayor’s Walk.
Our Mayor, Jeff Jordan, is 3rd from left." Thanks Mayor!

temiskaming shores people out for a get active day june 7, 2025Temiskaming Shores celebrated all the dads in our life, with a yummy brunch at the Cobalt Miners Tavern following the event.

There was a run or walk 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k or 15k on roads around Cobalt Lake. Afterwards, folks joined us at the Cobalt Miners Tavern for a light brunch! All events started at 9:30am. 
 
oak ridges moraine adventure relay 2025The Moraine Adventure Relay is a team challenge race sponsored by the Oak Ridges Trail Association in Ontario, Canada.

The Full Relay is a 160 km across the Oak Ridges Moraine Trail or participants entered for a Half Relay 80 km. Participants had the opportunity to explore the Oak Ridges Moraine Trail.
