For more than 40 years, the ORFA has focused on recreation facility risk awareness and reduction strategies – it is the foundation to most everything that we do as an Association. The ORFA and IPE jointly invested in the development of a comprehensive Recreation Risk Management Awareness Guideline, a resource designed to assist recreation professionals in understanding what needs to be considered when offering recreational programs and services. The guideline is now officially available in the ORFA Resource Centre, and will be a living and breathing document that will also support ongoing learning objectives in the ORFA Legal Awareness II - Managing in a Recreation Environment course. | |
