New Master Plan for Cycling and Walking may help

CORNWALL -- Ever notice how there's no sidewalks in front of the Brookdale Mall, or that pedestrians can't cross that busy avenue from Second to Ninth Streets?

Those are just two flaws in the city's cycling and walking networks that may be addressed as part of a new master plan.

By May, city council will tackle the new report and its recommendations, which deal in part with sidewalk gaps at locations such as Brookdale or Marleau Avenues.
