IMBA Canada's 2024 Summit: Building Better MTB Communities
Brought to you by: IMBA Canada + Shimano Canada
Location: Peterborough, ON
Dates: Friday Nov. 8th/9th/10th, 2024 IMBA Canada is excited to announce that we will be hosting our 2024 Summit: Building Better MTB Communities in Peterborough, Ontario.
In partnership with Shimano Canada and with support from Cycling Canada and local organisations like the Peterborough Trail Builders Association and Millbrook MTB, we will be engaging in thoughtful conversations about the current and future state of mountain bike advocacy in both a regional and national context.
In addition to a full day of presentations and panels we will be gathering in the evening for a screening of Dirt Relations - an inspiring and thought-provoking documentary from the Indigenous Youth Mountain Bike Program (IYMBP). The evening screening will also include a presentation by Adrian Alphonso on Trails as Reconciliation and a Q&A with Patrick Lucas of the IYMBP.
We invite and encourage attendance from all corners of the mountain bike and trail communities. The film screening will be open to both conference participants and the general public.
