ONTARIO SNOWMOBILING NEWS
Ontario Trails Council advises - sled smart. Take a driver education course. Follow posted speed limits. Drive your sled according to conditions. Do not drink and drive. We encourage the OPP and the MTO to enforce all safety rules and laws to protect the general public, trail users, and ensure the safety of all snowmobilers. As the OPP say -
Preventable behaviours like excessive speeding or alcohol and drug impairment put your safety – and your return to your loves ones – at risk. Please make every ride a safe one for you and your family,” said OPP Deputy Commissioner Karen Meyer, Traffic Safety and Operational Support.
