Ontario Launches Job Creation Programs in Eastern and Southwestern Ontario

Government Partnering with Businesses to Drive Innovation and Create Local Jobs
The new Southwestern Ontario Development Fund and renewed Eastern Ontario Development Fund are now open and receiving applications from companies that are driving innovation, growing Ontario's economy, and creating local jobs.
These funds will help diversify and strengthen each region's economy by encouraging businesses to pursue innovation and new markets, while creating jobs.
Since partnering with the government through the Eastern Ontario Development Fund, Blommer Chocolate Company has invested in modernizing its Campbellford plant, expanding Blommer's market reach, creating 14 new jobs, and keeping 80 more for local families.
Attracting investment and building business is a key part of the McGuinty government's plan to create jobs and strengthen the economy. A strong economy protects the services that matter most to Ontario families - health care and education.

The Ontario Trails Council spoke to Conservation Area Managers and Trail operators October 24th. We covered the topic of trailbuilding, as well as aspects of design, equipment, construction technique and the importance of human capital, education and training.  The presentation will be posted to the OTC Website under services/management. Nice to see Jay Cranstone of MMM Group, and as always Bill Goulding OTC Board Member, who endorsed my work. (Whew!) Thanks to Kevin Money of ERCA for the invitation.

To whom it may concern,

I am a graduate student at University of Guelph pursuing M.Sc. Rural Planning and Development. My research interest and my thesis topic are closely connected to horse industry within the Wellington County. I am currently working on a new horse trail network development and its impact to rural communities.

As the "Ontario Horse Trails" organization is one of the most honourable organizations within the Ontario horse industry I was hoping to distribute my research related survey through your FB web page. Please let me know if this would be possible.

This is the link for the survey:
