Wearing helmets crucial for cyclists - Chatham Daily News - Ontario, CA
"Once again, we roll into spring and cyclists appear on our streets. Young and old, for fitness or transportation, helmeted or not, they often compete with motorized vehicles for a place on the pavement.
Take a good look at what our Chatham-Kent cyclists are wearing on their heads. Hats, maybe. Helmets, rarely."

Regional Paddlesport Centre, online forum, Lakehead Canoe Club, Thunder Bay, Ontario
"Anyone up for a day or two (car camping) on the Black Sturgeon on the section immediately downstream of Black Sturgeon Lake on the last weekend of April? It is a clean wild water run (thanks to a chanel having been cleared for logging), of mostly I and II, with one rapid that requires some thought due to a small ledge. I don't know how pushy it will be, given the lack of snow this year, but with ice melt, it should still be a good run."
do you think bicycle riders and skateboarders should have to be licenced and insured? | Auto body Shop Toronto
"Since both of these modes of transportation can be used on the roads shouldn’t the rider bee required to take a road test, carry liability insurance as well as wear the required safety equipment.I don’t think skateboards were intended for road travel but for recreation, in skatebord parks not on busy highways in the city.I think too many people are not aware of the rules of the road and that includes all forms of transportation."
