Ahousaht students here February 28 on first leg of cross-country high school exchange

"It’s full steam ahead for the exchange between Atikokan High School’s Travel and Tourism class and a high school class from Ahousaht First Nation, on Vancouver Island’s west coast.

The Ahousaht students will arrive in Thunder Bay on Sunday, February 27, and then kick off a week of activities here with a school assembly on Monday the 28th."

The lanes are part of a two-year pilot project estimated to cost $1.3 million, and will run along Laurier Avenue from Elgin to Bronson Streets."

Downhill Community Sadly Loses One of its Own | Ontario Cycling Association

"Tragically, the Ontario Downhill Community lost one of its own this past weekend with the passing of 18 year old Junior Expert racer Taylor Bruce in a snowmobile accident."
