"With its motto of planting seeds for life, the Royal Botanical Gardens launched a new fundraising initiative last week focusing on health, education and environmental sustainability for Ontario’s children.
“Growing up Green faces a different challenge to promote a lifestyle change (with our youth) to include the outdoors… It represents the commitment we’re asking from donors to make sure there are still places to enjoy nature and to make sure our children get out and enjoy it,” said Mark Runciman, RBG CEO, during a media launch that took place inside the main auditorium at the RBG Centre (680 Plains Rd. W.) last Friday (Jan. 28)."
