"On a warm, sunny day in the middle of winter, climbers Steve Charest and Alden Pellett took me to the old Bolton quarry to see if I could pick up the chilly sport.
'For our first time out ice climbing we like to pick a place like this that has a variety of different choices,' Charest said, describing the various routes and their level of difficulty."
