"The Tay Valley Cross Country Ski Club is hosting a Family Ski Day at Murphys Point Provincial Park this Sunday, Feb. 20 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The day's activities will include snow games, hot chocolate and snacks, skate and classic ski instruction at all levels and a recreational ski in the park. Participants do not need to have their own skis. TVCCSC Youth Coordinator Geoff Hodgins has recently purchased new skis, boots and poles for the club thanks to a Perth Foundation Grant. Beginners will have an opportunity to test their ski legs out on some shiny new equipment. Those interested are asked to contact Geoff Hodgins at geoff.pat.kids@sympatico.ca to register. Confirmations with further instructions will be sent out on February 19. Join us this Sunday, Feb. 20 at Murphys Point Provincial Park for an afternoon of family-focused winter fun."

The Ontario Trails Council is a registered charity, led by volunteers who promote the development, management, use and conservation of Ontario's trails. You'll find everything from gentle walking trails to rock faces for climbing and water routes to canoe and kayak.
