Bike Month has evolved from a 1998 Bike to Work Day event to become the largest event of its kind in Canada. As the city expanded through amalgamation, so did the event’s scope and focus. Last year 50 groups including various businesses, community groups, organizations and individuals, hosted over 100 bike events. We’re excited to announce that over the next three years Bike Month will transition from a City of Toronto program to a community-based program led by Cycle Toronto (formerly the Toronto Cyclists Union).
