Ontario Trails - Chrysler Greenway Trail, Cycling Trails, Hiking, and Mobile App with Ontario Trails!

Volunteers are still needed for Saturday's Summer Sweat Fest Finale event.  We need judges, timekeepers and isolation Monitors. Judges should attend the free judging clinic Friday night at 6:30 (dinner included). 

All volunteers will be fed & watered Saturday, and will receive a free day pass to the gym. Please let us know how you can help us make Saturday an amazing event. We have a lot of crazy fun planned!

EDCO Member Requires Assistance

Norm Lingard, Manager of Economic Development for the Town of Caledon has been tasked by Council to hire a consulting firm to undertake a tourism study for the Village of Alton.  In preparing to do so, Norm is looking for examples of a Terms of Reference and/or RFP from EDCO members that have undertaken a similar exercise.
Components of that study are to include the following:
  • A SWOT analysis of Alton
  • Identification of the level of stakeholder willingness, interest and capacity to engage in tourism development
  • A review of existing and potential attractions within Alton and surrounding areas
  • An opinion on the readiness and viability of enhanced tourism opportunities
