This summer, CBC’s Live Right Now wants to see where you and your community Get Outside and Explore Canada.
We created an interactive map for Canadians to upload and pin their summer photos of sunsets, Inukshuks, picnic spots and more! You can also search the map to discover hidden gems posted from across the country.
Participate in our weekly Explore Canada Photo Contest!
Each week this summer we reward one posted photo with a one-year family Discovery Pass to Parks Canada! In addition, all photos submitted are entered to win our grand prize of a $500 Roots gift certificate which will be awarded on August 30.
Here’s what you can do:
- Add photos of your region’s best summer activities to our map and show where to Get Outside and Explore Canada
- Spread the word about our interactive map and contest – write about this campaign on your blog, in your newsletter, and on your Facebook and Twitter
- Sign up to receive our newsletter and stay informed about what’s new and coming up
