Conservation authorities deserve more support, not less. The motion by Asphodel-Norwood Township to dissolve ORCA is short-sighted at best. It should concern us all that their council's motion is linked to the ill-informed lobbying efforts of the Peterborough County Landowners Association; a self-serving group that has little concern for the general public interest."
