The 2009-2010 snowmobiling season is over, as the Sudbury Trail Plan Association and its member clubs have officially closed down its trails.
Over 80 per cent of STP's trails cross private property, either owned by people or by businesses. Trails on private property are off-limits to ATVs, walkers, bikers, and all other groups unless permission is granted.
"Club volunteers are in the process of removing all safety and directional signage installed to make your snowmobiling experience a safe one," Chuck Breathat, STP president, said in a press release.
