"When cyclists Ian Whatley and Ben Love arrived in Peterborough Friday, there was a crowd of enthusiastic supporters cheering them on.
The pair, who are cycling across the nation to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, arrived at Wild Rock Outfitters on Charlotte St. about 2:30 p.m.
'We're really pleased with what we've done,' said Whatley, who grew up in Lakefield. 'To go out and raise $12,000 for a good cause just by pedaling our bikes feels really good.'"
