Take the Lane: Here's a Wish Book for cyclists

"It's the program that will be introduced to Ontario's municipal leaders today at 10 a.m. in Windsor, and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. The Share the Road Cycling Coalition, the League of American Bicyclists, the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada and Trek Bicycles Canada are going to make their pitch to those who attend the session and hope that they can start a movement in Ontario.

Personally, I hope Andy Clarke, exec director of the League, brought some of the Yearbooks. It really helps to know that Oxford, Miss., population 16,727, has been looking at complete streets and road diets, hosts smart cycling courses and actually has redefined itself as a cycling town. If Oxford can do it, why not Goderich, or Brockville or Orillia?"
