"At today's meeting of Council, the City of Mississauga was recognized by Metrolinx as the Smart Commute Regional Employer of the Year.
'Today's recognition is especially meaningful as the Smart Commute program reflects our strategic goals and plans for the future,' said City Manager and CAO Janice Baker. 'The City will continue to support employees in choosing sustainable commuting options that reduce traffic congestion, improve health and lessen our impact on the environment.'"
