Anything can be hazardous for a cyclist - The Barrie Examiner - Ontario, CA

"Mixing cyclists with motorized vehicles is always a fickle thing.

When car meets train, train always wins. When car meets bike, car always wins.

That cyclists are vulnerable is inescapable. Road bikes -- the better the lighter -- offer no protection and there is no prospect for protection.

The best we could hope for is strapping a crafted piece of Styrofoam with a colourful design on our heads. That's helpful in tumbles, not a crash."
