"It was fall, 2005 when a photo was taken of Bob Howse on the freshly-laid gravel of the first phase of the recreational trail, just outside Niagara District Secondary School.
His wife Nancy held the picture up for all to see at Sunday's official opening of the trail, saying how appropriate it was that her husband was pictured outside the high school he had attended, on the trail he campaigned to have built, which was officially opened at the church where they met."
