The Barrie Canoe and Kayak Club, based out of the Southshore Community Centre on Lakeshore, have been out on the water all season, and every summer, since 1977.
Bonny Campbell, president, has seen membership grow from its original group of 20 canoeists to roughly more than 250 people participating in the two disciplines."
The Ontario Trails Council is a registered charity, led by volunteers who promote the development, management, use and conservation of Ontario's trails.
