"With winter inching ever more near, Mother Nature gave Timmins residents a break with a sunny day to walk the city's trails.
Dozens of people came out with their children and dogs to walk some of the 45 kilometres of trails maintained by the Mattagami Region Conservation Authority (MRCA) Sunday morning.
Hiking Day, put on in partnership with the MRCA and the Wintergreen Fund for Conservation, is designed not only to promote the trails, but ensure people feel comfortable walking them."
