Apple Pie Trail - get out during fall!
On the Blue Mountains Apple Pie Trail, some 30 cafés, restaurants and markets, from Collingwood to Meaford and south to Heathcote and Ravenna, offer the best of the season in the form of pies, treats and other apple-based products. At the Westin Trillium House, Blue Mountain, a special Apple Pie Trail package takes 10 per cent off regular rates for a lead-in of $170 per night, double occupancy through Nov. 30, with an apple crumble tart with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce for everyone indicated in the reservation. See www.applepietrail.ca.
