"During an update on the city's trail systems Monday night, many city councillors argued for a more robust maintenance budget amid complaints from constituents about trail debris.
Staff told city council, sitting as committee of the whole, that there is a limited maintenance budget, which prevents staff from picking up garbage along the routes and providing garbage cans throughout the trail system."
