"About 30 Special Olympians gathered Saturday for the Regional Winter Games, competing in figure skating, speed skating, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Regional games co-ordinator Cathy Davis said although 2010 is not a qualifying year for provincials or nationals, competition keeps the athletes in shape."
