"A bold 'environment-first' waterfront master plan designed to preserve and enhance natural areas along the Grand River within the confines of the city, and highlight the city's connection to the river was presented Wednesday at a public meeting attended by about 100 people at the Mohawk Park pavilion.
The draft plan, which will be presented to city council on June 14, offers a framework to protect the Grand River and its tributaries as a fundamental public resource for city residents. It was compiled by a team of consultants called The Planning Partnership, along with city officials."
