Marking their trail - The Barrie Examiner - Ontario, CA

Put this in your paper: This guy borrowed a quarter from me in 1962," chuckles a railroad pensioner pointing an accusing finger at another nearby, "and he still hasn't paid me back."

The memory of a 50-year-old quarter debt could prove to be valuable for Paul Marshall and Joanna McEwen. Although, it's the memory they're after, not the coin.

The Oro-Medonte Township pair are hoping to tap into that keen skill of recollection to develop a unique series of plaques along the Oro Rail Trail as it passes through Oro from Barrie to Orillia.
