Paddlers Guide to Happy Camping (and more)
Just a short one to say the Squall Paddling Centre is officially open tomorrow April 1. This is the first time in 25 years that Cole Lake is completely ice free - even the beavers have been cavorting with a big grin on their toothy faces. Please note we'll be closed Good Friday - and then starting Sat. April 3 we're open full on, 7 days a week til october. Fred Eaglesmith is coming on May 22 eve for our 25th Anniversary Paddle Party celebrations. If you would like to attend the concert - please call in to 705-746-4936 soon as there is limited seating. I'm attaching a preliminary list of presenters for the weekend - it's all free (except for the concert & Benji's Bistro!) The Level 2 Skill course in early May is almost full - couple of spots left if yer interested - call Tim! Still a couple of spaces in the three first aid courses, but they're capped at 20 so call now if you were thinking about it. Finally - if you are booked for any programme after July 1 or are thinking about it - you can save a portion of the HST by paying BEFORE May 1. And please don't swamp us on April 30, call now so we can sort it all out - thanks a lot. Once that date passes - we're into the new world for everything July 1 onwards. Don't say I didn't tell ya - Thanks for humouring me - tim the blatterer
