Brighton – A ban on off-road vehicles throughout most of the Brighton Provincial Wildlife Area could be lifted in a management plan being worked on by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Currently off-road vehicles are limited to the East-West Road but public support for their being allowed to travel on designated trails within the 392-hectare site is contained in an Issues and Options document. The document was put together with the help of the Brighton Provincial Wildlife Area Advisory Committee which includes representation from council and various stakeholder groups.
