"The Cross-country ski trails are operated by Ski Friends of the Frost Centre, a volunteer based not-for-profit organization formed in the summer of 1997 when it appeared that the Centre's trails might be closed. The Ski Friends rely mainly on ski pass revenue and donations to operate and pay for grooming. They also depend on significant volunteer trail work"
