"The contentious issue of All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) usage on township roads reared its head at a meeting of Lanark Highlands Township council's Committee of the Whole on Tuesday, Jan. 25, when two delegations made presentations.
Lanark Highland's residents Beryl Stott and John Baranyi requested and were granted delegation status with the intent of informing and updating council on the ATV issue.
The ATV issue has recently moved to the forefront of municipal politics, particularly following the creation of an ATV Task Force in Tay Valley Township - a task force put together to examine the issue of off-road vehicle usage on municipal roads."
